The Story about Me, For You
My life's work began over 35 years ago in the realm of Executive Recruitment and Career Coaching. I had the privilege of serving as a bridge between talented individuals connecting them to excellent opportunities in finance and tech. It was incredibly rewarding to guide these professionals, helping them crystallize career goals, honing their interview skills, and negotiating the often-tricky terrains of salaries, benefits, and relocation.
But then, a brief yet profoundly magical chapter unfolded: the gift of care for my grandson, Zenith, whose name beautifully encapsulates the pinnacle of my joy. His innocent wisdom illuminated my path forward, nudging me toward a new career as a Life Transition & Growth Coach after completing accreditation from IPEC and ICF.
Life’s Journey: The Highs, Lows, and Everything In-Between
As someone who has ridden the roller coaster of life, complete with exhilarating peaks and heart-wrenching drops, I have had my fair share of change, challenges, and transformative moments. Whether it was navigating the complexities of being a child of divorce, blending families, grappling with professional and financial setbacks after the tech bust, 9/11, 2008 Crisis, the Pandemic or facing devastating family losses from natural causes and suicide, each chapter taught me resilience and grace.
At 56, with divorce papers in one hand and a new lease on life in the other, I relocated back to New York from Florida with my two dogs, found new employment, and entered the bittersweet world of dating post-divorce. As I cared for my aging Mother through her twilight years until her death, I found love and partnership anew.
It is this intimate dance with life's highs and lows that led me to The Grief Recovery Institute and The Center for Life Transitions and Loss. I emerged with a greater understanding of grief by moving towards my grief to heal my broken heart. This lead me to be trained and earn a certification as an Advanced Grief Specialist. I have taken my most heartbreaking experiences and converted them into a toolset to help others find their way through the wilderness of loss and grief. Being resilient does not mean going it alone; it means reaching out for the right support when you need it. That is what I did, and that is what I am here to offer you.

From personal experience, life’s second half is not a whisper; it is a roar. A clarion call for renewal, reinvention, and invigorated living.
